Not the advertise 144Hz or the 160Hz overclocked. The reason why I am doing this change of monitor driver is because the refresh rate is only 60Hz. I have not been able to locate a monitor driver on LG website. I believe this is a driver that microsoft installed. I currently, have a "Generic PnP Monitor" in installed with a date. I was hoping you could help, because LG technical support would not give me any useful assistance for this desktop monitor. I have an USB connected to the system and the other end connected to a type C port on the back of the monitor. I have an 8K displayport 1.4 cord connected to the RTX graphics card on the system. It is seen correctly in the device manager in the Display adapter section. I am changing the monitor driver because I have a MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 Ti graphics card with updated drivers. I have installed two pieces of LG applications on the desktop, one is for settings called "LG OnScreen Control" and another named "LG UltraGear Control Center". My problem is I am having a very difficult time trying to change the monitor driver in the Device manager. I have purchased a LG 38GN950-B 38" ULTRAGEAR Curved WQHD+ Nano IPS 1ms 144 Hz HDR-600 monitor with G-SYNC Compatibility. 3840x1600 resolution.
